Their High-Resolution, diffraction limited optical systems are multi-coated to maximize contrast and image sharpness. This Saxon Maksutov comes in apertures of 90mm, complete with Alt-Azimuth mounts and tripods. Whether your requirement is for terrestrial or astronomical use, these compact scopes are the perfect companion. Tube material: Aluminium. The unique Maksutov-Cassegrain incorporates an optical design that gives an astonishing 1250mm focal length in a compact tube of only 350mm. This makes it a handy, portable and easy-to-use alternative to conventional long, heavy refractors and even most Newtonians. The 90125 AZ comes with 1.25" Super eyepieces, aluminium tripod and an Alt-Azimuth mount.
